S&S Processing was founded in the late 1920s, existing as an earlier entity then bought by the Phillips Family in the 1970s. The family wanted to retire but didn't want to see their company bought by a competitor and shut down – they had too much respect for their employees and legacy. Coil Works, with help from the Kinzua team, acquired S&S processing in 2022 and integrated it into their business operations seamlessly – retaining staff, expanding employment in the area, and focusing the strategy for continued growth.
